Fire Door Training Centre & Academy

They’re just doors!

Recent tragic events have shown us that this is not the case. Fire doors are a critical element in the overall fire strategy of many buildings.  There is currently no legislation that requires a minimal skill level for those installing or maintaining them. There is no requirement for these persons to undergo any form of fire door training to improve their knowledge and understanding.

This may of course change in the future and a recognised qualification is likely to become mandatory.

Having worked with fire doors for many years in manufacture and design, sales of fire doors and fire doorsets to the industry and installation, we recognise that fire door training needs differ depending on how someone is involved with the product.

We are delighted, therefore to offer a range of courses and education programmes specifically tailored to suit specific roles.

We will soon be launching the Fire Door Academy website.

The event can be held at our training facility in the North West or at a customer’s premises if facilities are suitable. This course is specifically designed to suit those likely to install fire door assemblies and doorsets, though may be suitable for those involved in other disciplines such as Facilities Management and is open to all applicants.

During these unprecedented times, training group numbers will be limited depending on the facilities available. The maximum unrestricted group size is 15 candidates.
